Back in School!

Hey Guys,

Sorry it has been a few weeks since my last post! I have a great few weeks; Last weekend me and another Au Pair I have met Courtney headed to the Aquarium and Wildlife Center! He had a blast, got to see a lot of sharks and Kangaroos! Went out a few nights and hung out in the nigh life, Sydney has a lot of great little bars and Cafes to relax in.

The kids are officially back in school and while I have a bit more free time I also have them for longer in the day. I wake them up, get them to school, pick them up from school, then dinner and put them to bed! Who would have thought I would become such a mom! I am still really enjoying my time here and while weather has not been the best I have managed to keep my Australia tan nice! ;)

Hey Guys!


Well last week was a blast! We drove up north to a place called Surfers Paradise and spent 4 nights soaking up the sun on the beach and by the pool! We all had a very relaxing week! We also made a visit to the water park up there and I really had the chance to get in touch with my inner child. HAHA those of you that have spent any time with me at all know I am pretty much a big kid! This week it is back to "work" if you can call it that. The kids have 2 more weeks of break then they head back to school. It is hot and humid here the last week but it's expected to rain the next couple of days. The weather man is never right here, the only way you know what it will be like is walking outside!

NYE in Sydney!

Hey guys! Well New Years was amazing, I got lucky and ended up going to a concert (full of artist I had no clue who they were), with some girls that I met who are also Au Pairs in Sydney! We had a great view of the bridge and the city, and great music to dance to all night. The fire works are breath taking, I am pretty sure that it was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. If you have yet to come to Australia to see all the fireworks please do so next year! The weather has also been great with very warm beach days I am getting quite the tan! Next week I am off to Gold Coast for vacation with the family and I could not be more excited! The place we are staying is great and one of the days we are going to Wet N Wild (like Raging Waters)! Should be great! I hope you guys all had a great holiday!

Hey I am in Aussie Land!

How I spent my Christmas!


Hey Guys,

I thought this would be a good way for all of you to keep track of where and what I am doing! I am now in Australia as many of you know, living with a wonderful family that had 2 boys and 1 girl. The boys are 4 and 7 the girl is 9! I spent the holidays with the family here and had time to spend a few hours on the beach! I have been here for about 3 weeks now and so far I love it. I live in a small beach town in Sydney called Clovelly, I am about a 3 minute walk from the beach.

Right now the kids are out of school until the first week in Feb, so I have them all the time! We have beach days and park days, we do crafts and have snacks. The boys are quite the handful, but the girl is a great!
